Background:

1979-2001 Competitive amateur/professional figure skater in the disciplines of singles and pairs skating. Toured and competed across the United States, Canada, and Hong Kong until a injury kept me from continuing to pursue the sport.

2001- 2003 After being plagues by a back injury and unable to participate in figure skating I began to do more and more of what at that point was a hobby of mine. Photography became the center of my life where figure skating had once been. In Mid winter of 2002/03 I changed to a digital format for my photography. In late winter of 2003 I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis but continue to work as much as I did before. I do not anticipate letting multiple sclerosis control my photography and look forward to working as much as possible.

At this point in time I have three pieces published in annual books published by the International Library of Photography.
